SP1 - Student Education Session: Introduction to Digital Therapeutics: What You Need to Know

Have you heard about digital therapeutics (DTx) but don’t know exactly what they are? Or how they are being used to expand therapy options? Patients are increasingly being prescribed DTx to work alongside medications, devices, or other therapies to optimize patient care and health outcomes. As a future pharmacist, it is important to not only know what DTx are, but also how to counsel patients and use these products to improve your own insight into patient outcomes. Join this student pharmacist session to learn about the spectrum of digital health products available to patients, caregivers, and clinicians, and distinguish how to identify and use DTx products specifically.

Join this student pharmacist session as a panel of managed care pharmacists give insight into non-traditional and emerging career opportunities in managed care pharmacy post-graduation, as well as best practices for networking and interviewing. Panelists will spark enthusiasm amongst student pharmacists to utilize their firm clinical foundation, problem-solving skills, and leadership strategic capabilities in pursuing a managed care pharmacy career.
AMCP Managed Care Pharmacy Residency and Fellowship Showcase

The Virtual AMCP Managed Care Pharmacy Residency and Fellowship Showcase assists residency and fellowship preceptors, directors, residents, and fellows in fostering relationships with prospective candidates and exchanging valuable information about their managed care programs.
AMCP welcomes participation from all managed care post-graduate residency or fellowship programs in the Virtual Showcase. The contract deadline for virtual booth reservations is Fri, Oct. 2.
The Residency and Fellowship Showcase
This event features a forum for student pharmacists to meet one-on-one with representatives from managed care pharmacy residency and fellowship programs from across the country in preparation for post-graduate activities.
This provides an opportunity for potential candidates to explore managed care programs, foster new relationships, and exchange valuable information!
